Getting started

Overview

What MineSync is, who uses it, and how to get started with the platform.

Overview

MineSync is a fleet maintenance management platform built for mining operations. It helps maintenance teams track vehicles, schedule work, manage parts inventory, forecast costs, and analyze fleet performance — all in one place.

MineSync is multi-tenant, meaning each organization gets its own isolated workspace accessible at /t/<org-slug>/....

Who Uses MineSync

  • Maintenance managers plan and schedule work across the fleet.
  • Technicians view assigned tasks, log meter readings, and update work orders.
  • Operations leads monitor fleet health, review forecasts, and control costs.
  • Administrators manage users, configure the system, and maintain master data.

Logging In

  1. Navigate to the login page at /login.
  2. Enter your username or email and password.
  3. Click Login to access the platform.

After a successful login you are redirected to the Lifecycle Dashboard for your tenant.

Navigation Structure

MineSync organizes its features into modules, each with its own sidebar. The active sidebar changes based on the module you are in:

  • Lifecycle sidebar — the default view, covering the Dashboard, Strategy Management (asset profiles, TCO), Parts Management (parts list, BOM, standard jobs), Fleet Management (fleet, meter readings, work orders), Reporting (forecasts, meters report), Tools (company info, SQL viewer, configuration), and Admin.
  • Scheduler sidebar — appears when you navigate to Scheduler pages.
  • Benchmark sidebar — appears when you navigate to Benchmark pages.
  • AI sidebar — appears when you navigate to AI pages.

Top Bar

The top bar appears across all modules and provides:

  • Sidebar toggle — expand or collapse the sidebar.
  • Global search — search pages and data with Cmd+K / Ctrl+K. See Search for details.
  • Help panel — context-sensitive documentation links.
  • Database status — current database connection info.
